I graduated from Carleton University in 2000 with a degree in Computer Science but my practical experience started much earlier learning BASIC and teaching myself Pascal and Perl programming.
Roland has over 30 years experience in Unix sysadmin, software development using Perl, shell and C as well as experience in electronic and opto-electronic hardware and firmware design.
He has developed programs and procedures for supporting large groups of software developers and their computing environment.
He also has experience as a manager and has trained and mentored junior staff.
Roland holds a Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Windsor and has been a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario since 1981.
Richard has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Ottawa and has started some graduate study in signal processing, with an interest in acoustics in particular. He is also interested in energy efficiency and management, having been involved in the solar vehicle "raycing" community for nearly two decades. Richard hacks bikes.

Michael Richardson is a self-taught programmer and consultant, and has been involved with network security systems since 1988. Michael was a founding employee at Milkyway Networks in 1994, and Solidum Systems Corporation in 1998. Solidum designed and sold hardware for IPsec protocol. As a system software designer and protocol designer, Michael has been involved with the Internet Engineering Task Force, as an author for RFC3586, RFC4025 and RFC4332.
